Espiritu is a Regio and Solido grandaughter. She has exceptional bloodlines and

carries the beauty and grace of both of her grandsires. She is a 5-year old mare who

loves people. She is elegant and refined, has a sweet disposition, intelligence and

curiosity. She also has brio and a strong presence. She is eager to please and

learns quickly,willingly accepts change and new experiences.

Espiritu was born on my ranch and started her training at birth with imprinting and

loving care on a daily bases. She can be handled with ease and does not spook when

confronted with unfamiliar situations. Her Peruvian training began in 2006 with

Chalan Jose Rivas. In April of 2007 she won Reserve Champion of the Halter Classes

at the Southeastern Peruvian Championship Show. She continued with her professional

training with Chalan Cesar Huiman at the Rancho Linda Loma. She has been ridden in

full Traditional Peruvian Tack. Espiritu has a beautiful gait with lift and termino

and is smooth, smooth, smooth! She has the potential to become a winning show mare.

She is also a pleasure to ride on trails. She loves trail riding and is alert, calm

and attentive. She has clocked many hours of trail riding and is willing to go by

herself, as well as with other horses. What more could you ask for????

Well there is MORE! Espiritu comes from a long line of exceptional old Peruvian bloodlines.

*Destello,her great,great grandsire on her sire's side was a Champion of

Champions. *Piloto, her great, great grandsire on her dam's side was one of the

most famous Peruvian stallions,known for his brio,gait,spectacular action and

strength. Five of her great and great, great grandsires are recognized in The Blue

Book of Peruvian Bloodlines, by Vernon Albright. They are *Piloto, *Laurel,

*Caramelo *Regional and of course *Sol de Oro (V). With her exceptional bloodlines

she would be a great investment as a breeding mare. She hopes to find an owner who

understands, appreciates and loves the qualities of the Peruvian horse because she

has them all. She also needs a rider with VERY soft hands. She moves by leg cues and
